An engineer & pioneer with over 47 years in the concrete cutting, coring and selective demolition industry, Bob has the experience, qualifications and tenacity to get the job done. An industry ICON, Bob was instrumental in the development of the industrial application of what we know today as the commercial Wire Sawing industry. Bob lead Cutting Technologies to the first Nuclear Decommissioning of a nuclear generating facility, Maine Yankee, multiple Steam Generator Replacements, several research labs and nuclear propulsion facilities. Working with entities such as the DOD, GSA, DOE, TVA, EPA, NRC, DOT’s, Authorities, Engineers, Owners and Contractors alike Bob was on the forefront of what has become part of an expanding industry.

Bob has imparted those experiences, qualities and leadership to the next generation of the company to expound on and take into the future. Anyone who has had the opportunity to meet Bob knows his unique abilities & interests extend into not only in construction but as a Pilot, a Captain, a Teacher and Mentor.

An engineer with 31 years of field experience in the industry and a third generation specialty demolition expert. Rob’s efforts have reached all of the contiguous states in the United States, abroad to 6 countries, the Virgin Islands and several US territories. Rob has worked in 26 nuclear facilities, hydroelectric generating units and dams from Maine to Washington State, Steel Mills, Processing Facilities, Refineries, Canals & Locks, Ports, Piers & Bridges. Many of the projects Rob has successfully lead have been featured in national periodicals such as:

ENR Magazine, Nuclear News, Marine News, Hydro News, Philadelphia Construction Journal, ACI/PCI Magazine, Roads and Bridges, Maritime Ports & Harbors, Construction Guide, Bridge Design and Engineering, Waste Water Digest, Paper & Pulp News, Iron & Steel Technology, Tunnel Business Magazine to name a few.

Rob has developed and employed “outside the block thinking” engineered methods for metal cutting, bridge segmenting, dismantling of sensitive structures and underwater structures. A senior project manager with 36 years of experience in the concrete cutting, rigging and selective demolition industry. A likeable Greys Ferry South Philly guy from St. Joes, John is the tip of the spear for Cutting Technologies in the Delaware Valley service market. John has been the driving force on many successful unique projects that demand innovative thinking and the discipline to get the job done. As a technician John was exceptional. Armed with an education and years of field experience John’s talents were realized when he transitioned into project management with Cutting Technologies. Focused mainly in the Philadelphia region, John has had the opportunity to work in many of the most complex and demanding facilities requiring site specific training, environmental considerations and hazard considerations. John successfully continues to work in all of the area hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, refineries and high rise building renovation projects. As a leader with field experience, John is able to provide guidance to our technicians by helping with their continued development while providing a value to our clients and customers. John’s ability to work with the clients, adapt in the field and communicate with our technicians has been a successful recipe that will insure CTI is an institution in the Philadelphia market.
