Experience of serving clients for 25 years in the field of construction and demolition has led Cutting Technologies Inc. to be one of the first choices in this field. CTI has been providing services in all kinds of drilling, sawing, cutting and other demolition works. Please call our helpful staff to inquire more about our sawing services. Depending upon your need we have the right equipment and the technical know-how to provide you with the best service. Listed below are types of sawing operations we have been performing in the past.
Concrete Sawing
Concrete sawing, chiefly is concerned with sawing of concrete by wire or blade. Before doing this, many things are to be pre-determined which any novice or amateur may not be able to carry out. At CTI we are able to perform concrete sawing on steel-reinforced concrete or pre-cast concrete.
Diamond Wall Sawing
Diamond Wall Sawing is a predominantly quiet and non-percussive way of performing sawing operations. Depending on the situation, diamond-tipped blades can be mounted in different power units to perform efficient diamond wall sawing. Wall sawing can be performed with diamond encrusted wire or blades in such surfaces as concrete, reinforced concrete, brick work, natural and cast stone.
Diamond Wire Sawing
A diamond-encrusted wire is used to perform diamond wire sawing. With recent motorized system of guided wheels providing efficiency and power, the task of diamond wire sawing has become easier. CTI has experience in using diamond wire sawing to cut heavily –reinforced concrete, solid steel and even rock. The preciseness of cuts resulting from diamond wire sawing makes it the method of choice for many demolition project.
Road Sawing
Road sawing is done by diamond blades on machines that are usually powered by gasoline, diesel, electric, or hydraulic engines. Road sawing is used to cut asphalt and concrete roads, drainage, cables, and electrical wires. Road saws usually feature a diamond blade that is mounted on a walk-behind machine requiring only one operator.
Slab Sawing
Slab sawing is performed on concrete (level and flat surfaces) including cutting through resistant concrete, pre-cast concrete, tarmac, and other structural materials. Purpose fo slab sawing could include creating space for expansion joints, to make openings for ducts, elevators, stairwells, machine pads, to cut trenches for channels and plumbing. Slab sawing is also used for demolition purposes.
Wall Sawing
The track-mounted wall saw is a fast, neat method of forming larger openings. Wall or track saws use a circular blade on a track-mounted machine. The track is attached to horizontal walls or steep tilts that will not permit the use of floor saws. Wall or track sawing is typically specified to cut precise dimensional door, vent and window openings. It is also an excellent choice for creating precise openings in any concrete structure.
Wire Sawing
Wire sawing is ideal for removing large sections of heavily reinforced concrete, such as piers, towers and bridge sections, and cutting concrete in areas where workspace is restricted. Wire saws are diamond-impregnated wire fed through a series of pulleys to produce a cutting facility to cope with any depth or shape of concrete structure without vibration, noise, and dust and are user friendly. Since virtually no concrete structure or cross-section is too large to cut, wire sawing is used where other cutting methods are impractical.
We at CTI are capable of handling any type sawing project. Our consultants will provide you advise and service best suited for your sawing needs. Please call our qualified, efficient and experienced engineers, project managers and technicians for initial cost-free consultation.
