Contractors and facilities managers
in industries as diverse as mining, steel production, and paper and pulp have come to know the value CTI provides during
reengineering initiatives. We are routinely sought out for
high-pressure, fast-tracked jobs such as plant shutdowns and
service outages, and we are one of the first specialized
contractors called upon when emergencies arise.
|
 |
Our controlled approach to demolition allows pre-outage
dismantlement, reducing the milestone or critical path impact to
the outage schedule. CTI’s reengineering experience includes
cutting boilers and tanks from their moorings, segmenting heavy
machinery into manageable, easily removed pieces, and coring
thousands of feet of concrete to create spaces for added
structural supports.

PROJECTS OF NOTE
IP Phoenix Project
Jay, ME
Performed for Cianbro Corporation
Scope: Engineered, cut and rigged several large machinery
foundations and slab sections prior to an outage at this paper and
pulp mill. Once operations were halted, the spoils were quickly
removed, reducing line outage by 20%.
Holcim Tower
Florence, CO
Performed for Structural Preservation Systems
Scope: Core drilled over 100 110-foot deep holes through the
structural beams of a 400-foot high tower – all within less than 1 inch of
vertical and horizontal deviation throughout the entire
110-foot stretch of each core.
